The destination for our tourists this year was a repeat of 1999, sunny
Torquay. The locals were extremely keen to welcome us back again.
A luxurious Hotel in the town centre was been made available to us.
The proprietors even supplied us with breakfast.
The Tour Requirements were:
1. Hawaiian Skirt and Shorts.
2. "Kiss-me quick hat"
3. Arm bands
4. Rubber Ring
5. Rugby Club tie (Verwood RUFC)
6. White Socks
7. Sunglasses
8. Drinking Vessel
9. Condom (Unused)
Brief Itinerary
1. Meet Friday 9.30AM - Three Swans Public House - Verwood
2. 10AM Depart
3. Dorchester Public House Lunch-time to attend to formal business of Tour including in particular:
3.1 Nomination of Officers
3.2 Agreement of Tour Rules
3.3 Liquid refreshments
4. Arrive in Torquay and book in to Hotel depositing Passports
5. Friday Night - general drinking and savouring of Torquay Night-life
6. Breakfast Saturday Morning
7. All Tour requirements to be worn to rugby match at Paignton RFC. Kick off expected to be sometime around 12 or 1 PM.
8. Saturday afternoon in Club House entertaining our hosts
9. Saturday night festivities to be decided on the day
10. Sunday morning breakfast
11. Time of departure to be discussed
12. Final drinking session, with all tourists
back at Verwood sometime on Sunday
