    Annual Dinner Dance

The annual dinner will this year be held later than usual on the 19th June to accommodate a large number of players and partners who are attending a wedding. The venue remains the St Leonards Hotel
The dinner will again be black tie which of course means a bow tie (of any colour) worn with a dinner jacket not a lounge suit, blazer or any other garment. Any juniors attending will be allowed to wear club shirt and tie with a suitable pair of trousers. The ladies will of course dazzle us with their elegance as they do each time.

Places can now be secured for the miserly sum of £25 per person and food will need to be ordered as part of this process. Cash is acceptable but we would prefer a cheque made out to Verwood RUFC.
As the club has again grown this year you can expect their to be more demand than availability so do not be tempted to think “I can do this later” as you are likely to be disappointed, we have already received the first payments.

To get yourself sorted you can speak to Jim, Mike, Niall, Kim or Alan.  If you are bringing a friend/partner let us know as we do not know everyone’s full name.
The menu is even better than last year so there should be something for everyone.

    Vegetable Soup
    Sweet Chilli Chicken Salad
    Creamy garlic Mushrooms

    Mediterranean Vegetable Lasagne
Roast Pork with all the trimmings
Grilled Fillet of Hake with a tomato relish and chive sauce
    Chicken Provencal

    Apple Pie & Custard
    White Chocolate Panacotta
    Fresh Fruit Salad

Please note that you will need to organise your own transport as taxis are difficult to get to this location at short notice. Sharing is advisable!!
If you want to make a night of it the hotel will, I am sure, be happy to rent you a suitable room and there is a travel lodge across the road if you want to keep the cost down a bit.
